A single-domain antibody (sdAb) that strongly binds to the nucleocapsid (N) protein of SARS-CoV-2.
The nucleocapsid (N) protein of SARS-CoV-2 is an abundant RNA-binding protein critical for the packaging of the single-stranded RNA viral genome. Due to its abundance, it is an interesting target for antibody detection in biopsies and tissue. The protein N is also present inside virion particles bound to single-stranded RNA.
Our nanobody binds strongly to protein N of SARS-CoV-2, even under harsh sample treatment conditions, e.g. paraffin-embedded tissue.

Reconstitute with 250 µL pure deionized water for immediate use or with 250 µL sterile 50% glycerol for storage at -80°C.
