Human PBMCs isolated from buffy coat using a Ficoll gradient and co-staining with anti-CD4-APC, anti-CD62L-PE (DREG-56) and our FluoTag-X2 anti-CD62L-FITC.
FluoTag®-X2 anti-CD62L is derived from an in-house developed single-domain antibody (sdAb) recognizing the human lymphocyte marker CD62L (L-selectin) with high affinity and specificity. Our FluoTag-X2 series features two site-specifically coupled fluorophores per molecule. The reagent can therefore simultaneously target two fluorophores to each target molecule, which results in an enhanced signal. The FluoTag®-X2 anti-CD62L is validated for FACS applications. In contrast to conventional antibodies, our FluoTags are monovalent and therefore do not cross-link their target proteins. Since single-domain antibodies do not contain an Fc region, unspecific binding to cells carrying Fc receptors is minimized. Our FluoTag®-X2 anti-CD62L is therefore ideally suited for FACs analysis. Of course our FluoTag®-X2 anti-CD62L also works in microscopy applications.
