A control protein consisting of FLAG, HA, MBP, Myc, and ALFA tags.
The PentaTag Control Protein is a recombinant fusion protein consisting of an E.coli maltose-binding protein (MBP) fused to four commonly used eptitope tags: DYKDDDDK (FLAG), HA, Myc, and ALFA. It has a molecular weight of 47.8 kDa and can be used as a positive control for Western blot, dot blot, IP or ELISA assays. The order of the tags in the PentaTag Control Protein from N-terminus to C-terminus is as follows: FLAG, HA, MBP, Myc, and ALFA.
